Thanks,
I tried the rescue mode on the server cd,
and it fails when it gets to the actual "enter rescue mode"
section. i can do everything else but that.

how would i go about installing a i386 kernel package?
is there a way to get to a command prompt on the install cd?
and sorry to be so clueless, but what i386 package would i
install?

and i thought pentium3's were 686?

Thanks for the help.
